The City Council is reviewing a proposal to extend meter enforcement hours until 9:00 p.m. and raise hourly rates to $4.00 for roughly 1,600 downtown spaces located near city-owned garages. Final decisions on these adjustments are slated for upcoming council discussions. You can check current operational guidelines or neighborhood exceptions through ParkSJ.
If you would like to weigh in on this change, email Michael Mulcahy's office.
The Burrell Park Neighborhood Association was established in 2024 to enhance the community spirit of the park’s residents and to celebrate its history and improve the neighborhood. Burrell Park began development in 1924, before the Rose Garden existed! It includes Burrell Court, and Hedding Street, and the south side of McKendrie Street between Park Avenue and Dana Street.
