Downtown Parking Rates

The City Council voted down the proposal to increase on-street parking rates. Instead, they have opted to raise the rates for the parking garages to $1.25/hr with the first 90 minutes free.

The Burrell Park Neighborhood Association was established in 2024 to enhance the community spirit of the park’s residents and to celebrate its history and improve the neighborhood. Burrell Park began development in 1924, before the Rose Garden existed! It includes Burrell Court, and Hedding Street, and the south side of McKendrie Street between Park Avenue and Dana Street.

Get Out The Vote
Elise Stassart will be hosting a postcard writing party on Saturday, October 17 2 PM at her home at 1514 Burrell Ct.

The campaign is run by PostcardsToVoters.
​
We have 30 postcards to decorate and address to be sent to registered voters in Georgia. You are not allowed to tell them how to vote. The postcards are meant to encourage voters who are registered, but have failed to actually vote to make the effort to cast a ballot.

Come meet your neighbors and have some fun decorating postcards.
